Mud Volcanoes are a rare phenomenon of nature. There are gases coming out and along with these gases, mud keeps pouring out of these small volcanoes at Baratang. Due to its rarity, one can make an effort to visit the site. Can be combined with the limestone caves. One can reach Mud Volcano site by car from Baratang Jetty. One side Road journey takes about 15-20 minutes to reach near the entrance stairs point. One has to walk through the little long steps, around 160 meters upwards to reach the actual Mud Volcano site which is at some height.
