Kalapathar Beach is another white sand beach in Havelock Island. Slightly rocky but a soft sand beach with gentle waves. It is best known for its mesmerizing sunrise and sunsets. Around 10-12 km away from the Havelock jetty, you start seeing glimpses of the beautiful Kalapathar beach. It’s one of the most favourite sunrise spots, though you may have to walk ahead from where the usual tourists are, to get a good view. This beach is perfect for souvenir shopping – from shell necklaces to t-shirts, you have everything here.
